omicron

the omicron sequence was developed during the peak of the omicron covid-19 surge in late 2021 and early 2022. it is primarily about the juxtaposition of color as well as containers, boundaries, edges, planes and spaces. where and how elements meet creates ambiguities about spatial relationships that i find interesting. as always, the coexistence of rational, intentional geometric forms with random, accidental painterly incident creates a certain level of drama and mystery. all are 22” x 30” created in 2022
